Q-What structure will the Spring Season follow?
U7(2017-18), U9 (2015-16) and U11 (2013-14) House League will follow a similar structure to the Fall/Winter Season.
Spring Session U13 and U15 will have two different programs available:
U13/15 (2009-10) Developmental
This is a Morinville based developmental program for athletes at the U13 and U15 levels. Program will be divided by gender. U13 and U15 athletes will practice together.
This program will run from the beginning of April to the end of May. Athletes will attend weekly (1.5 hour) practice sessions focused on skill development. There will be no separate gameplay however scrimmage style play will be built into practice time.
U13/15 (2009-10) EYBA Competitive
This is a highly competitive level of play. Previous experience is required. Please assess your child's confidence and abilities prior to registering for this program. If you have questions or require advice, please reach out to us at morinvilleyouthbasketball@
Program will run from the last week of March to mid June 2024. A minimum of 8 committed athletes must be registered for this team to proceed. A maximum of 12 athletes will play on this team (if more than 12 athletes register evaluations will occur to determine the strongest players for the team).
